Who we are and what this covers
AIO Digital Pty Ltd (ABN 20 697 630 667, "AIO Digital", "we", or "us") is a Perth-based automation and systems company. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information through aiodigital.au and when you contact us about our services.
It does not cover other websites we link to, or the systems we build for clients. Those are handled under each client's agreement.
For any privacy question or request, contact [email protected].
What we collect
From the contact form. Your name, business name, phone number, email address, and a description of what is slowing your team down. If you choose to give them, we also collect your role, team size, the kinds of tools you use, your business website, and when you'd like us to call.
Automatically, when you submit the form. We record the page you were on, the page that referred you, any campaign tags in the link you followed (utm parameters), and your time zone and the Australian state it suggests. We keep these with your enquiry so we can see which pages lead to enquiries.
For spam protection. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. It checks that a submission comes from a person, using signals from your browser and your IP address. We don't store your IP address with your enquiry. If we block a submission as spam, we record only the reason and the country it came from.
Emails. If you email us or reply to one of our emails, we keep that correspondence.
Why we use it
We use your information to:
- reply to your enquiry and arrange a discovery call
- send you a confirmation email after you submit the form
- keep the contact form free of spam and abuse
- understand which pages and campaigns lead to enquiries
- meet our legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations
We use your details only for these purposes. We don't sell your information, and we don't send marketing emails.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run this website and respond to enquiries, and only as far as they need it to do that. These are:
- Google, for email and for internal notifications about new enquiries.
- Cloudflare, for spam protection on our contact form and for storing backups and website files.
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, which hosts the website and its database on servers in Sydney, Australia.
Some providers, including Google and Cloudflare, may process information outside Australia. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Storage, retention, and security
We store enquiries in a database on servers in Australia, and we restrict access to authorised people.
We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry, generally no more than 24 months, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. We keep backups for a short period, so a deleted record may remain in a backup for a time.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no system is completely secure. If you think your information has been compromised, contact us at [email protected].
Analytics and cookies
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. We measure how the website is used with Umami, a cookieless analytics tool that we host ourselves. It records things like the pages visited, the page that referred the visitor, clicks on our main call-to-action buttons, browser and device type, and approximate location. It doesn't follow you across other websites or build a profile of you.
While you browse, the website briefly remembers the page you arrived on and any campaign tags in the link you followed, in your browser's session storage. This is cleared when you close the tab. If you send us an enquiry, we keep it with your enquiry, as described above.
Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam. Cloudflare processes technical information from your browser, such as your IP address and browser details, to detect bots and to improve its service. See Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum for details.
Your rights and complaints
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected]. We may need to confirm who you are first. We'll reply within 30 days. If we can't do what you ask, for example because the law requires us to keep the information, we'll tell you why.
If you have a complaint about how we have handled your information, contact us at the same address and we'll look into it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed, and the current version is always the one on this page.
